Have to say I have been doing all three and for some it is a waste of time. But for us in the land of the oppressed it is one of the best venues to communicate and tell it as it is. I am comforted to know that fellow men and women in my country do not adhere to the sadism of the cultural impositions on us. I know we will change the world to our liking because those archaic lazy thugs can't rule forever, just like the terrorists state of 3zrael will cease to exist they will also take their jab and go with the wind.

Obama: We Understand

The "We Understand" Convention Watch Party


The Arab American Democrats are throwing a Barak Obama convention watch party as far away as possible from the Democratic National Convention.

Don't worry Barak; the Arab American Democrats understand!

In an effort to support Obama without embarrassing the Democrats with our "un-American looks" we're not going to Denver, CO. Instead we're going to watch the convention at Hidden Café in "Little Gaza" on Brookhurst St., hundreds of miles away... since we know our votes are needed but our presence may make your photo ops a little uncomfortable.

We understand that Obama as a viable candidate can not be associated closely with Arab Americans or Muslims. We understand that as funny looking and funny accented Americans our support could be a problem at a convention meant to ease America's conscience about the first Black president. No matter how excellent he is.

Free Gaza

I am thinking of the brave activists who took it upon themselves to break the blockade over Gaza. Not one Arab country saluted their effort but what's new? I am thinking of the Pharaoh of Egypt and his partnership in the slaughtering of Palestinian blood. Aljazeera had excellent coverage. When they interviewed an Israeli security thug from 7yfa (Haifa) he went on rambling with sarcasm on the European left. It was a sign of his defeat and frustration...I say good.

Lesson Learned

I signed up with a career coach around December 2007. It was hasty and it came from a place of need and panic. I was also curious but that was buried way beneath the need and fear. It was a difficult task to work with someone who had a different outlook than yours. Every time I told that person I wanted to quit, she told me to stay put. That she will change her method, that she will respect my slow pace...I would submit the work she asked me to do, only to have her throw back at me as no good. I had to re-submit an essay on five success stories over a three month period. It dawned on me that this shyster was just buying time so she will keep the money I have paid her (month to month payment)Finally, she had the NERVE to put down my work, over the phone, and tell me I am not going anywhere with her work because of my spouse and that I need to practice tough love. She had the gall to call me and tell me she did not suggest to divorce my spouse ( he suffers from depression and is doing very well, thank you!!!)but to ask questions and think about them. I asked her to terminate the coaching and send me back the rest of my money. I was a fool in not researching her background. She turned out to have gotten unknown degree from an online university in New York city.

People, watch out for crooks like that. If this one learned to follow what her instinct told her to do from the beginning: get out, get out, get out, instead of staying in order to finish the 'process' I would not have been given a pile of poop.
